K-12 Education

Lincoln school students have a wealth of opportunity from a strong and dynamic public school system, to a variety of private school options. Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) educates between 35,000-40,000 students each year in 38 elementary, 11 middle and 6 high schools, as well as through The Career Academy. Lincoln also has 33 private schools serving nearly 7,000 students. The Career Academy, a partnership between LPS and Southeast Community College, opened its doors in August 2015 to offer hands-on experience, dual credit and credentialing training across 16-pathways.
